At 8:50 this evening I received a call from a telemarketer representing a breast cancer charity looking for a donation. I asked if he was from Susan G Komen and he said no. I asked how much of my donation went to breast cancer research and he told me proudly "no less than 10%." I said "You are telling me of every dollar I give you less than $.10 goes to actually f-ing goes to breast cancer research?" He was more appalled by my language than his company's take and to give a frame of reference Susan G. Komen uses about 80% for actual cancer research.
He said " You don't need to use that language."
My reply was " You plan to steal 90 f-ing cents of every dollar and you think you can lecture me on how I should speak on my phone in my home?"
The scumbag said "I will not let you cuss at me"
I said "You called me, hoss"
He replied "I did but you can't speak to me like that."
"Or else what?"
"I won't be spoken to like that"
"No one tells me how to f-ing speak in my f-ing home. You called to scam me"
