I think I messed up 300 cases

Take a look at the bottom of the primer pocket. Does it look to be bowed?
If your swaging backup rod has a small rounded tip, you may have bowed the bottom of the primer pockets.
Also, ballistic tools makes a primer pocket gauge. I set my swaging up then try a few with the gauge to see if the swaging setup is right. Then adjust if necessary.

Yeah, I don't have the gauge, but when I got the tool I set it up correctly, and have used it for several years, and just recently, when I went to do these 300 cases, I thought, maybe, it has settled a bit and needed to be tightened up a little, without thinking I could take it too far. Sure nuff, you can take it too far. I can attest to it. I will go back and set it up again, tightening it a little at the time to get it right, and this time, will leave it alone. Wallace
