If this doesn't give you a rush, you're not alive

I think I could do this. I have years of evasive maneuver training from driving in Atlanta, launching from on ramp red lights, last second stops....... I think I will put my resume together. :plane:

Nice, but need some TopGun theme soundtrack.

SuperBug drivers don't need to hold onto the canopy handle when getting thrown off the boat any more?

Awesome video, thanks for the memories.

In 76, 77 I was Marine Detachment on the carrier Saratoga an enlisted man.
I'd go up to the O8 lever on the island and watch air ops for hours.
In those days we had A6's and Phantoms, boy those Phantoms were sharp.

Swore I could do that, all they had on me was that college degree, promised myself I'd learn to fly and did. Knew my kids were going to college even if it meant I had to drag them kicking and screaming, lol.
Luckily it wasn't that hard.

Tell your kids, STAY IN SCHOOL! Use me as an example if you need to.
PM me I'll talk to them. :becky:

Oh, Hell Yeah! Love it!

Being in aircraft maintenance had it's advantages. If you did a pretty good job or won a Wing level award, you were given an incentive ride in something that went fast. Yep, it's a rush.

Keflavik NAS, Iceland, 57th Fighter Squadron, 1994 (One of our F-15D's). The "canoe" thing under the wing and alongside the engine intake is a conformal tank. We were the only non-F-15 Strike Eagle unit with them. Our nearest divert base was RAF Leuchars, Scotland.
