Im out of the middle ga area and as some of you may know, macon just had their ducks unlimited banquet on friday. Being the waterfowler i am, i went and did what you do at DU banquets and bought some raffle tickets. After years of never winning anything of much value, to my surprise i won a shotgun! A tristar upland hunter o/u 12 gauge du edition.
Im looking for someone with some insight on these shotguns who might could enlighten me as im struggling to find any good literature on the gun and havent used the turkish manufacturer in the past.
As i said earlier, im a waterfowler so naturally i enjoy shooting clays and have always done it to keep sharp outside of duck season. My hope for this gun is to use it at the local gun club to shoot trap to give me a little change from my benelli. Possibly even shoot in some fun shoots or benefit tourneys and not be the guy shooting a camo duck gun, but mostly because o/u's are just plain fun. Id like to get some extended chokes but i dont know which ones will fit my threads. Reccomendations would be GREAT.
Also any other comments and personal reviews of the gun are very welcome.
