For those in the world of milling and porting, what CNC machines would you recommend? I'm specifically looking for models that are entry level/cost effective as it gets but would still get the job done.

If you have any machines you are looking to get rid of as well, please feel free to reach out. Thanks as always!

What Jobs are you interested in trying to tackle ?

CNC isn’t really a hobbyist venture unless you have a substantial budget. you can play with some basic 3 axis table top rigs but programming it and machine set up would be a lot more difficult without a foundation from working with such equipment.

I would suggest a table top mill you can find them on Facebook marketplace place for around $600-1000 depending on setup. Get a few diff diameter cutters probably 1/8th 1/4 and a 1/2 to start I’d also get a decent dial indicator a micrometer and a good set of calipers.
