I have moved to villa rica and my neighber has four acers of land that is loaded with deer but i dont know if its leagle or not? I already have my hunting licence and am going to wait till deer season.. just want to make sure .

Think it's 150 yards away from a house or road would be you main concern. DNR booklet will have the exact yards you have to be away from them to legally hunt in the area.

X2 on calling the DNR.

I hunt a spot of land that is 20 acres next to my house. I had to make sure I wasn't hunting within a distance of the neighborhood boundry line and/or the road.

I live on the out skirts of villa rica thanks for all the info i will check with the ga dnr. my neighbor is elderly and wants me to get rid of all the deer but I am a responsable hunter and would not hunt illeagly. i moved here from massachussets a year ago so i am famillier with strict hunting regs . I am also a avid fisherman does anyone know of any spots around the ville rica douglasville area?

Dog River Reservoir fishes pretty well.
What type of fishing do you do? I'd suggest different places depending on what you prefer to target and what type of fishing...fly, spin, bait, etc.

Does city limits matter with a bow?

i do most of my deer hunting in town with a bow. one of my favorite spots i can sit and look across the interstate and watch people go in mcdonalds, people wave at me while driving by on i-16, and i can look over my other side and watch people buying cars at metter ford.

its my most productive stand.

I live in Villa Rica, and people around my house hunt with rifles. I hunt in Temple. I think it's legal to bow hunt in Villa Rica.it wouldn't hurt to check the regulation book. You can get one at Wal-Mart free.
