OOH , I've got one or two disassembled guns in shoeboxes that are projects!
I wouldn't want to keep the guns even if they are assembled tuned and working well.
At least one of them comes with some notes and technical drawings from a prior owner who had or was going to have a part custom machined, because he couldn't source one directly (although he may have done that back in the early 1990s before the Internet. He died 30 years ago.)

Apparently was made by Iver Johnson for other companies to sell, and they got to choose what name was put on it.
"US Revolver Co" is just a one of many fictional trade names stamped on this same model of pistol for marketing purposes.
