funny to see this today -- not one hour ago I just picked up a burning barrel (one of a dozen that are available right now)
at United recycling on Friendship Circle right near Bethelview & Highway 20 on the west side of Cumming.

Cost was $10 for any of them they look in perfect condition, once used.
Most of them have lids --of course I plan on taking the lid off of mine maybe just setting it on top when I'm not using the burning barrel, as a rain cover.

PS: Obviously these barrels don't have any air holes in them, for 10 bucks!

you have to put holes in them yourself.

I'm going to open the gun safe and decide what size holes I need!

(although I might end up actually
sawing 3 inch diameter holes near the bottom
with a metal cutting blade in a jigsaw.)

Yeah, I saw those. I was hoping to deal with people on ODT rather than CL if possible, but beggars can't be choosers so I may have to go the CL route.
I just bought a metal burn barrel from a guy on Craigslist. He has a lot of ads there and is located on Six Flags Parkway not too far from the park. I also got a 275 gallon food grade IBC tote (plastic container inside metal frame) for $150. He'll even help you load, has a skid steer equipped with fork lift thing. He has a lot of food and chemical grade barrels and a lot of metal barrels. He had burn barrels with holes already punched for $30 and for $40 he had one with holes and a grate welded to the bottom so the ashes fall out.

He only accepts cash and is open like 1pm - 7pm most days but wants you to text first to make sure he'll be there.

I'm burning stuff in my new barrel as I type.

I'm in Cumming. Any chance you could meet up around a halfway point?

This is what I would do.
If I were able to meet you, it would be a few weeks. I gotta get a radiator for my truck before driving it that far
