Item Description: This is a stainless Palmetto Arms Freedom barrel (5.56, 1/7 twist). It is mid-length gas and originally came as a dissipator with pinned front sight. Now it is full floated and the front sight base has been removed. I don't know if all the stainless freedom barrels are this accurate, but this one is hyper accurate especially with Federal 55gr TRU ammo. At the time I was the sniper for College Park SWAT team and used this barrel as a less powerful option to my 308 bolt gun. My issue guns were the 308 bolt and a 10in entry gun. Once I saw how accurate this barrel was, I saved it from a high volume firing schedule (max rds is probably 800 over several years). It has an AAC 51 tooth 3 prong flash hider (pic). It also has the two pin drillings where the front sight base was (pic). I'm just selling to thin things out some. I'm 60 and not on the SWAT team anymore.
