Item Description: For sale only- Solid 1911 USGI style pistol with post war military components (70’s Series design). This is a solid durable pistol that functions perfectly. All steel construction with non MIM parts. It does retain an original WW2 Colt safety, since it was already fitted for this pistol I didn’t replace.
A quality Essex Arms frame with the military issued slide that came with my CMP Remington Rand 1911a1 purchase; all from the mid 80’s.
This has a military issued magazine and barrel that I polished. Durable finishes show little wear and new Hogue grips. Internals were cleaned and polished where needed for best function.
I’m tempted to just keep it, but I have several 1911s and need to recover some funds from other recent purchases.
