Item Description: This is a 1950 manufactured Marlin 336 A with 24" barrell in 35 Rem. This is 3rd year of production. Gun is in great condition except for one item, see below. It has a BSA Catseye 3-10x44 scope, sling. The BAD is the stock was cut and buttplate removed. The length of pull without the pad is 13.25", I am 6'2" so I added the slid on pad which lengthened the LOP to 14" even. It fit me alot better. It has the boxed JM mark as should be on this era gun. No crossblock safety (use the safety between your ears). Seldom find a 35 Rem in this condition from 1950.
