22R 5-Speed – Runs Great

If you know these trucks, then you know what you are looking at. This isn’t just an old Toyota. This is the next to last year of the strait axle. To find a truck like this with minimal rust and a good body line is getting harder to find. Many are rusted and beat up!!! New Clutch and Timing Chain. It does have some rough patches on the paint, typically bed spots in front of rear tires, and dent in bottom corner below tailgate. It's not perfect cosmetically but if you know these trucks, it's a great find. Leather bucket seats. Can send more pics.

Reminds me of the one on top gear they tried to kill but couldn't. Even put it on the roof of a hi rise before it was leveled and it still crunk. I wish they still built them like this.

had an 82 model. went 368K miles before I sold it,guy used for 3 years then sold it. not sure where now. Truck got me through divorce and bankruptcy

yeah that truck was awesome on Top Gear - Think it was a diesel.

I was told it was the double roller timing chain. I just got it but I have ended up with 3 so 2 have to go.

as for engine, I am not sure -runs great though

Can't kill that 22R engine!

My 82 Celica GT had one, 285k miles on the same clutch, and I took that car places I won't take a 4 wheel drive now.....
