Item Description: 1989 Dnepr 650 2WD - located near Atlanta, GA

A bike with some interesting history. Sometimes in the 80’s there was a company called Neval that imported Soviet Union era bikes into Great Britain and US. What was originally known as Dnepr (military version, full time 2WD) and Ural (civilian version) was imported into US under Neval brand name. DOT approved with a clear Florida title that says Neval 650. But it is actually a Dnepr 650 2WD rig.

Enough of history stuff, I owned this bike for a few years about 10 years ago, and then sold it to a gentleman in TX. Three years ago, I caught a bug again, and wanted to fine another side car bike. I reached out to the new owner, and moons aligned - my old bike was for sale.

Why sell again? I am moving this summer to Florida, and it’s a big bike to move when we have mandatory hurricane evacuations. Just takes up too much room in the trailer.

The good:
Bike had gone a frame up restoration, gas tank treated and painted, everything else powder coated. Very close to original color. Rims, hubs were powder coated black. Mikuni carbs, and many many new parts - tires, alternator, seats, all kinds of bits have been replaced. Motor is very strong, and bike tracks great. Clean FL title. Original odometer has been replaced, I am guessing about 5K miles on the clock. About 300 miles since re-build.

What it needs:
Charging light is on, I did replace the alternator, and perhaps regulator is at fault. Blinkers sometimes just don’t work. Maybe it’s all a bag ground, or a bad connection. Wiring is very simple and I think this can be sorted out with little effort. I just don’t have time right now.

It’s not showroom perfect, but it’s in great condition. Lots and lots of fun.

Price is $6,000 and that is the bottom dollar. Let’s skip the game. Partial trades will be considered.
