Item Description: 1995 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban for sale. Asking $1950 or best offer.
4x4, V8, automatic transmission, power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, am/fm/cd radio, front and rear air conditioning and heat, tow hitch, 3rd row seating. 184,000 miles.
I've owned the Suburban for a little over two years. We bought it as our 4x4 for when the weather is bad or if we had to haul something. In the last few months, my wife bought a new all wheel drive CR-V, and I just bought another all wheel drive CR-V for my daughter. We no longer need the Suburban as our bad weather vehicle.
In the last two years, it has had new brakes, front and rear, a new ignition switch, and the oil was changed in the last 100 miles. It also has had new plugs and an air filter since I have owned it. The serpintine belt was replaced along with the actuator on the front axle to turn on the four wheel drive. Tires have good tread. All the power windows and door locks work, along with the cruise control.
As with any vehicle with some age on it, it has some minor issues. The air conditioning is cool but not cold, I haven't looked into adding Freon. The leather seats, like all Chevys of the 1990s, is in poor shape, that's why there are seat covers. The check engine light will come on some times when you are driving, it will be off the next time you start up.
The paint is a Rustoleum paint job, covering up that typical 1990's GM quality paint.
Please don't come expecting this to be a time capsule and to be absolutely perfect - it isn't. If you need a vehicle to haul a bunch of people, go riding up a rutted forest service road, this is for you.
No vehicle trades, I won't finance. The only partial trades would be for something that goes boom...

I like the Rustoleum job. It reminds me of what the street rod mags used to call " The Suede Look". I dig a satin finish on most things. I'm not a GM fan but that's a good deal on a solid SUV. You can pull most campers or boats with it with no problems.
