Item Name: Item Gone: FS 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit (Mk5 Golf) * 5-speed manual * 2.5L 5-cylinder engine
Location: Clarkston, GA
Zip Code: 30021
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 1900
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I have for sale a 2008 VW Rabbit (Mk5 Golf) 2-door with the 170HP naturally aspirated 07K 2.5L 5-cylinder engine (yes five cylinders, not four) and a 5-speed manual transmission. I have the Georgia title of course, and it has a current emissions test that is good until September 2024, so there are no problems with registration. It has 227,012 miles, but it is mechanically in good shape. Runs, drives, turns, stops, and even the AC works. The clutch was replaced about a year ago.
Most of its flaws are cosmetic. The wheels are currently mismatched, but there are a matching set of four (just need tires) so you get 7 wheels total with the car. If I was keeping this one for myself long term I would do the following: new tires, replace heater hoses (small leak), rebuild gear shifter (5th gear hard to engage), replace driver’s headlight and wiring, replace windshield.
VIN available upon request. Thanks, and let me know if you have any other questions.
