Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $375
Caliber: 12gauge

Item Description: Here’s a perfect Christmas present!!
Up for sale is an amazing & rare Winchester Model 50 Shotgun. It’s an Innovative short-recoil operated, with a floating chamber (originally designed by Carbine Williams). It’s a precursor to modern inertia operated shotguns. Very fast shooting. It is also the “Featherweight” model with a. Aluminum alloy receiver & thin profile barrel. Modified choke. Weighs 7#2oz unloaded.
This is literally one of the last M50s made in 1962. The rarity is that it is one of the ones made by Winchester AFTER the official production ended around serial #196,400. They did another unofficial short run for the Christmas 1962 sales to use up left over parts. This one is 200,740.
Here’s the best part, it’s been a Safe Queen for 62 years. Probably no more than 2-3 boxes of ammo through it. It had been shot “about a box” when I bought it 10 years ago. I’ve shot it about a box and a half. It is in excellent condition with close to 95% bluing on the barrel and about the same on the receiver. There is some wear on the bottom edge of the ejection port. The Walnut stock and forearm are near perfect. It doesn’t look or act 60+ years old.
Price is now only $375!! Can’t travel much & can meet at the Bass Pro parking lot in Lawrenceville. If we meet and you don’t like, we’ll just shake hands and cancel the sale. No fuss or bother.
