Item Gone: FS Brand NEW Taurus Carbine CT40 G2

I have one of these in .40. This is a good price.
The Good - Solid, well made, not some .40 cal carbine toy. Fun gun to shoot. No recoil to speak of. Easy to clean. The bolt is a horse. Great trigger. Overall the gun is rock solid. Laser accurate. Love it.
The Bad- only one thing. The Clips only run 10 deep. Can't find any aftermarket and Taurus isn't bringing in any. I would love to get my hands on more clips. None of the .40 AR platform clips fit it as they seem to have been made to support both 10mm and .40 when they were originally designed. This will be a problem for many people and the reason I believe the prices are where they are.
I have not seen a CT9 (9mm version) in this price range. They will have the same clip issues but I have read that you can mod up a 9mm AR or UZI to make it work.
There was some talk about Taurus revamping this gun and re-running it into the USA. DK if that is actually going to happen.
I would get this if I didn't already have one.
