Item Name: Item Gone: FS Browning Auto5 Magnum 12ga BARREL 28" Invector Plus choked
Location: POWDER SPRINGS
Zip Code: 30127
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $500
Caliber: 12gauge
Willing to Ship: Yes
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I purchased this barrel new from Browning about 12 years ago, put it on my dad's 1958 Magnum 12 and shot 4 3 inch rounds through it. I took it off the gun, cleaned it up and it put it away in my safe, where it has lived ever since. It is in like-new condition.
I recently gave the gun to dad's oldest grandchild and he wanted the original barrel on it. If you own one of these guns with a fixed choke barrel, this barrel will open up a lot more hunting options for you. You know the guns are heavy, so stalking around in woods would not be my idea of fun. But it would be great in a duck blind, turkey hunting or deer stand hunting. The Belgium receivers are a bit lighter than the Japanese ones, so that would be the best of both worlds if you have one of the pre-Miroku guns
I don't know if the barrels are being produced any longer, my guess is not. Art's Gun Shop site on Guns International is the best place to find quality Browning Auto 5 items. When you are lucky to see one, these barrels routinely sell for $750+, and most are not in new condition. I'm asking $500 and a MOD Invector Plus flush choke will be included. I don't mind shipping if you can't meet FTF in or around W. Cobb (Marietta, Kennesaw, Hiram etc).
