Item Description: Fair condition Colt Auto. Classic 1911 in .45 ACP. This is a "70's" series, which means it does not have the later 80 series trigger safety, which degrades trigger crispness and let off. This trigger is very light and crisp. Feels like a 2 lb trigger, so while ALL firearms need to be handled safely, this one in particular needs a mature and responsible hand. It is a serious, single action pistol. It would be VERY easy to allow an accidental discharge if you mishandle this gun. I do NOT recommend this pistol for new shooters. I handle all my guns with respect, but this one gets extra attention. But a crisp, light trigger also gives you a deadly accurate weapon.
Hard to photograph, but expect plenty of wear. I had planned on Chroming it, but have decided to sell as is. Good for you, if you want a sub-$1,000 Colt 1911. Added G-10 grips, but otherwise pistol is as I received it. Oversized mag release. Upgraded sights. Mag well funnel. One nickle plated magazine, not a Colt mag. No ammo included. Must meet near Conyers.
