Gen 5 do not have the "finger grooves" and have replacement back straps that come with the gun. This is a gen 3 model.. I believe gen4 & up have it stamped on the slide.. I've got a new 47 gen 5 MOS and it isn't stamped on the slide even tho it's a Gen5 so, I'd research but more than likely a gen 3 on yours.
