If only it was a takedown model...very nice still.

Yeah I don't have any use for a TD model and again the design was voted on. Thanks for the compliment though. It is nice.

I thought for sure they were going to incorporate some of the new designs into the 2015 line up. Take the barrels for example. There's A LOT of people who send their barrels off to have a gunsmith move the factory sight back and barrel threaded...and they pay about $150 (minimum) to do so. I had asked Ruger about this (why not have this option available whereas all could benefit?). After all the 10/22 has an enormous following. They (Ruger) could do this in house, reap a small profit and the owners would not have to ship barrels. Guess this was a one time deal.

They did send me a letter that the idea was noted and would be looked into along with a hat (for what it's worth). FYI I believe they may do this with all the "Tell the CEO" suggestions. Over the years I have accumulated a couple.
