Item Description: 1891 Argentine Mauser barrel (stripped) chambered in 7.65x53. The only part that is still on the barrel is the front sight. There is some surface rust that can be removed using ballistol and steel wool. Comes with an original sporterized stock free of charge that includes the original bolt takedown tool.
Bore appears to be in good shape, and shows strong rifling towards the receiver and down to the muzzle. I wish I could get the bore in focus with my camera or use an Argentine round to show bore condition.
This would be a great option to restore an 1891 Argentine or to repair an already sporterized Mauser.
