Item Description: Testing the waters to possibly thin the herd and help out my daughter with a few things around her house.1947 Winchester mod 75. Looks like the offspring of the legendary "Riflemans Rifle".The mod 70. Ive owned this rifle many years, but its time pass it on if the cash is right.It wears the original grip cap and buttplate. As well as the original factory mag, with the Winchester "lightening" logo on the base plate.Lyman peep sight with a plug in the slot for the rear dovetail. I have always thought of the 4 great 22 winchesters being the models 61,62, 63, and 9422, with the model 75 an unappreciated sleeper for the fifth spot on that list. Prices on these rifles are all over the board on gunbroker. But this is a nice original,unmolested example with a few minimal scuffs in the wood. Thanks for looking.
