Item Description: Selling a 1971 R60/5 that I've restored 4 years ago. I've converted the original 600cc top end to a 750cc with 32mm R80st carbs. It has the original 4-speed with R60 gear ratio. My primary sources for replacements parts were either boxer2valve, or EuromotoElectrics. I have a bunch of extras to go with it to include some small spare parts, Clymers manual, and tools.
The odometer currently reads 38,815 miles and was working recently till the speedometer needle broke. It has stopped counting mileage but I haven't rode it much since then. It has pretty much all the easy upgrades you can do to a /5. That includes a deeper oil pan and pickup for extra oil capacity. "Reed" breather valve. High output R90/6 alternator rotor, stator, and diode board. New EME voltage regulator and 6v coils. Non resistor Ngk plugs with 1k wires. Still running points and condensor but revs up smoothly with new timing advance springs. Seat is aftermarket and the rear turn signals are plastic from a later year. Installed new clutch and timing chain, new fluids, and changed all the seals that are prone to leaking. Needs a new battery though it does seem to operate and run just fine using only the kickstarter at the moment.
