Item Description: Original Marlin 1895 made in 1895,26 in octagon barrel full length magazine , German silver front sight ,buckhorn rear. Tang factory tapped for vernier sight ,wood in very good condition steel heel butt plate , action is as tight as it came from factory . Bore is very good .Was reblued around 1950 finish is very good ,screws have not been buggered up . Overall this guns is in very good shape ,it is not excellent . I have owned it for about 42 years , i Have only put 1 round through it ,when I bought it .have a box of ammo to go with it .
picked up in newnan .

Also have an original 1894 marlin 38-40 made around 1910 , German silver blade front sight , buckhorn rear , steel butt plate , the finish is original case hardened . Minor pitting on side of receiver 24 “ octagon barrel . Have 3 50 round boxes of Winchester factory ammo .
