Item Description: Ok, ODT...on the block today is a thought experiment come to life. I got bored a few months back and began thinking, if I went down in a plane or found myself completely alone in the bush and I could only have one system, what would it be? And so I put this together aaaaaaaand now I'm bored with it.

The system is built around what I consider to be one of the best "survival knives" out there, the Cold Steel Trail Master...but I didn't want to spend that amount of money of a project that I wasn't sure I was going to like. So I bought the MTech knock off. It's a solid copy and performs well enough. It is a big knife. Almost 12" of blade. It batons well and chops well, too. (Coincidentally, the knife is no longer available for sale...presumably because Cold Steel sued them.) Red paracord lanyard. It is sheathed in a custom basketweave kydex holster designed for belt carry. Attached to the sheath is a fire steel with additional paracord and a pouch in which there is an ESEE survival tin. In that survival tin are water purification tablets, q-tips, a fishing kit, lures and bait, a sewing needle, a razor blade, a flashlight, and some extra batteries. Flashlight has a little rust on the ring from being used and put away wet (Thanks, kids.). I took out for a night or two to test proof of function. I built a fire and caught no fish. Task failed successfully!

Looking to pass along a little fun...and beat BrownHawk Industries to market. As always, will answer all PM's. Thanks, ODT! :yo:
