Item Description: Got a pretty cool 41 caliber Swiss M1878 revolver made in 1880 by Waffenfabrik Bern. All numbers match. Mechanically solid. No pitting, but lots of speckled patina. Likely a WW1 vet bringback, as the ones that have been imported are 1940s reworks, and this one is original condition.
These are pretty rare, as only 5000 were made. The 2 examples for sale online right now are 1800 and 3300 respectively. I think that's crazy.
