Item Description: Up for sale or trade is my bobtailed Kimber Custom CDP II with thin Sarge spalded wood grips. Sarge recently retired from the grip manufacturing business so these are irreplaceable, and one of his nicest examples. With its alloy frame it weights only 31.2 ounces with an empty mag. This is the way to go if you want to carry a full size 5" 1911. The trigger on this pistol is approximately 3 pounds, breaks cleanly and is at least as nice as any Wilson or Nighthawk I've owned or shot. The Ed Brown bobtail was installed prior to my acquisition, but the installation is top notch and the pistol has been previously inspected by a gunsmith. This pistol has been carried from time to time, but mostly it has been my nightstand pistol. Not sure of the round count, but it has not seen heavy use. Comes with two KimPro mags, box, docs and a Kimber branded lock. Not sure what I would take in trade, but it needs to be a quality firearm. Not interested in bows, hot tubs, animals, children or ex-wives.
