Item Description: Up for trade/sale is a complete Mark X barreled action(includes floor plate/trigger guard bolt, and guard screws too). The barrel was shortened to 18 in and given a recessed target crown. LNIB condition...no rust or scratches at all. The bluing is like a mirror. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Includes a 1 piece leupold base and rings. Also has hooded front sight and adjustable rear sight on it.

Was going to build a brush gun but never got around to it. This is a 98 type mauser action...very strong and reliable all you need is a stock.

I like short actions, lever guns, and can add cash to a trade if needed.

Yes the trigger guard/floor plate screws are included.

Gun was imported into the US by Interarms.
Sold under the name of Whitworth.
There is two possible manufacturers of the action.
One is it could be made by FN or it is going to be a CZ action.
This is a commercial Mauser action and if I had the available funds I would purchase it.

Guys these are hard to come by!!!
