Item Description: I have an English Enfield No 1, which had been partially sporterized. Gun could be re-converted back to a full military, further sporterized, or just used as is. A perfect cheap deer rifle, starter or loaner gun, or truck rifle. Enfield's are the fastest bolt action ever made, and with a 10 round mag, offer great firepower.

The .303 was my first ever firearm purchase. Got it at Roses for $60 in 1992 right after I turned 18. Had to strip it down to get the cosomolene off of it. I then refinished the stock and touch up the blue to make it more presentable. Never shot a deer with mine. I bet I haven't put 20-30 rounds through it. My dad has shot a few with his (I think he got is for $15 back in the 60's). I didn't start deer hunting regularly until after I was older and got other bolt guns and I use them instead. $150 is a good price today. GLWTS
