Hey all, up for sale is a 2004 f-150 XLT
4x4. The truck has 215k miles, but don't let that number dissuade you. Lots of money has been put in on new parts under the hood. Many of these miles came from a cross country trip I just took from Atlanta, Ga to British Columbia, Canada. Truck ran flawlessly the entire time. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive across the country again!
Pros: 3in leveling kit, 35in Nitto Terra tires (have about 13k miles on them), dual exhaust, cold air intake, 2 12in subs under back seat, touch screen head unit, train horns, and several thousand worth of new parts including radiator, ball joints, control arms, exhaust manifold, rear main seal, whole rear axle unit along with differential, new gaskets and valves, spark plugs, coils and boots, transmission range sensor, oil pan, and lastly, alternator. The truck shifts and drives very well. Dual exhaust gives it a nice powerful sound. Bed is rhino lined and I have westin bull bar, step bars, and bed rails.
Cons: Missing the passenger side mirror (I have replacement glass and housing but never tried to fit it in). There are some dents and and scratches that can be seen up close but nothing from a distance. I want to detail everything so save the time of both parties. Will probably need an o2 sensor. Cheap fix. One of the chrome exhaust tips was not installed correctly so it rattled. I took it off. Can easily be welded back on. Still sounds amazing.
