Item Description: I have a basic savage axis 270 for trade. It comes with the stock scope sold at academy. For a budget rifle I'm actually very pleased with it. I have only put ten rounds through it last season (didn't get anything). Looking to trade for a Thompson center compass in 243 or 270. Can add cash as well. Also would really like a Marlin 336 and would add cash on my end. There is nothing wrong with the gun but the stock does not agree with the way I like to hold a bolt gun. I think it has to do with my wrist injuries but I'm no scientist. I am open to other offers as well. Horrible picture but I will upload a better one tomorrow. Can also add Ruger 10-22 for a two for one deal

A Boyd's stock and the MCarbo trigger spring kit makes the world of difference in a basic Savage Axis. Mine in 22-250 is a tack driver now with a 2.5 lb trigger.
