Item Description: Marlin 1895 444, less than a year old. Has about 40 rounds put through it. Near Mint condition, comes with 3x9 scope, 10 rounds of Hornady 265 grain, and soft case. I have some other ammo that I will sell with it at a discounted price if interested. I'm near Athens, and am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet in the middle for the sale. Hey, this is a beautiful rifle and I was looking for one similar to this. What can you tell me about it?

Well, she was born about a year ago, right before I bought her. She shoots straight, doesn't kick to hard(the wife handled her no problem and she's 5'2 110), and puts pretty big holes through any north american game or so they tell me. I haven't hunted with her, but I was getting 1 inch groups at 100 yards pretty easy. Then again I was using a scope at the time.
