Item Description: Old mauser 98 that had a shot out barrel , i left original stock as it was in good shape , had a take off 700 barrel with great rifling , that i had cut threaded and rechambered in 7mm-08 , fully glass bedded stock, saftey works as it should BUT it will need a set of higher rings to fully function with scope , scope on it is a konus . This is a solid old reliable hunting rifle that shoots !!!! Its not a show piece , but a great rifle to drag through the woods , that was the purpose of having this built to loan out a good shooting tough rifle i did not have to worry about . Was going to cerakote but decide to leave it . I will never get the money or time back out of this rifle and im ok with that but be respectful with offers . I dont have to get rid of this . Just thought somebody would want a well built rifle that will last another 100 years instead of a rem 770 or savage axis that wont
