Item Description: For Sale: Like-New Smith & Wesson 686-5 (7-Shot)

  • Manufacturer Date: August 15, 2001
  • Caliber: .357 Magnum / .38 Special / P+
  • Barrel Length: 4 inch
  • Grip Style: Altamont Super Walnut Combat Grips
  • Frame Style: Round Butt L-Frame
This is a pristine example of the sought-after Smith & Wesson 686-5, featuring a 7-shot capacity and a 4-inch barrel. The revolver retains its like-new condition, with minimal handling marks and a flawless stainless steel finish. The Altamont Super Walnut Combat Grips provide a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality, offering both beauty and a secure hold. The true gem of this revolver lies in its unique barrel markings—or lack thereof. For a very brief period in 2001, Smith & Wesson did not stamp the ejector side of the barrel. This particular example is one of the rare few that made it out with stamping on both sides of the barrel, making it a highly sought-after and extraordinary find. Truly, a collector's dream!

Includes the original box, factory documentation, and the test-fire round, ensuring its authenticity and completeness for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Manufactured in 2001, this beauty has desirable features no longer available on today's modern machine-made guns- like the absence of that ugly lock.

It’s an extraordinary piece of S&W history. Unfortunately, with a newborn at home and the need to downsize, I no longer have the time to shoot, so this is your chance to own a piece of history. - This one has been shot very little!!

If you cannot travel, I am happy to ship the revolver.

What you see pictured is what is included with the sale.
