Item Description: I got this in a trade a while back, and because I am not really a hunter, this gun does nothing for me. It is a Remington 742 Woodmaster 30-06 with Synthetic Stock. I prefer AR platforms (though I have a lot), AK's, more modern/tactical guns and more distance shooting options. I do not have the original wood stock, it came to me already converted to the black synthetic. It does have the original magazine, as well as one additional 10 round clear magazine I did buy for it in case I ever decided to use it. It also comes with a soft carry bag (Remington branded). It is tapped and railed, and includes a Mossberg scope which is made by Barska (Basically the Barska 3-9x 40mm Huntmaster silver scope).
Particularly looking for a Taurus 608 357 revolver 6.5" barrel (or similar Taurus 357 with 6.5"+ barrel) to replace one I got rid of long ago. Polished vs matte a plus.
Not interested in standard "built" AR's unless heavy in my favor, have enough of these. Variants in different calibers besides 223/556 could be of interest. I would like a nice modern 308, 6.5 Creedmoor or some other distance/precision rifle in my collection, preferably something chassis based. Prefer more modern/tactical looking styles over woodgrain, while not completely opposed to either one. Also interested in the Ruger Precision series and similar style that have the sniper rifle appearance (A nicely set up Ruger Precision 22LR could be cool). For AR's, maybe a nice Daniel Defense or AR10, but standard 5.56 I have my fair share of already (unless it's heavy in my favor) Those would be my main trade interests.
I have had many offers and deals on this and my other guns where people just went ghost after making an agreement. Please don't be that guy. If I make a deal with you, I will honor it and I expect the same respect in return.
I know values go up and down, I based mine off of recent sales prices of similar finds through recent ended auctions and other sites since I have not been in the market to buy or sell the past few years.
