Item Description: FS/FT Russian SVT-40 Tokarev it is a 1941 Tula made 762x54R This Rifle does not have any import marks that I have seen ( Bring Back ) . It does however has the SA stamp on it ( FINN Capture ) This Rifle has not been restored or refinished looks like it just came from the battle fields .... It does have a couple of Character Cracks in the wood nothing bad ... The chamber is good And the Bore is shinny and has great rifling ... shoots and cycles good .... The Grandfather of the SKS. The SVT is a semi-auto beast! Highly collectible with the "SA" marking as well, makes a history buff like me drool. This was most likely used in the Continuation War, serving both the Russian and Finnish soldiers that used it. If anyone wants a true piece of combat/military history, this is a heckuva rifle for that. Plus, you can still shoot it fairly cheap with all the 7.62x54r surplus out there. Sigh, I wish I could afford it right now!!! GLWS, and thanks for offering it up here on the ODT!
