Item Description: I have a Savage 99 300 Savage lever action rifle . It was manufactured around 1946 so it is around seventy three years old. I think it is in great shape for its age. The bluing on the barrel is perfect. The receiver maybe discolored but not sure. I have seen pictures of rifles the age of this one and they look identical to mine. The wood is in great shape a few dings but no cracks and it has never been redone. It does have a scope mount that I found out today is made specifically for the Savage 99 by Leupold. So the rifle has not been taped for a scope mount. I do not have the scope rings did not come with the rifle on trade. This a great piece of our firearm history. I would like for someone to get it that will appreciate the craftsmanship and history of this rifle. Thanks and God Bless
