Item Description: Somewhat sporterized made in U.S. Savage enfield #4mk1.These guns were made for British military in the United States and leased or loaned to British .Gun has the square s for Savage and property of the US stamped on it.Metal is as original with no pitting or rust.Also original wood but reshaped and refinished with new butt plate.Nice clean bore has not been drill for scope mount.
