I have a Remington 243 auto with a scope. Model 7400. Really nice gun. If you are interested in trading, leave a phone no and I will send a picture.

DON'T REALLY KNOW EITHER GOGGLE IT ?
I presume you've actually seen it, right? Can you describe what are you seeing, that you are calling a "Chinese code 2" ?
I thought you may have meant the arsenal code ( which identifies the specific arsenal where it was manufactured), but they are typically 2 or 3 or even 4 numbers, and usually inside a triangle, rectangle, or oval. They can also be very funky-shaped numbers, and often difficult to tell exactly what they are. A light and magnifying glass can be helpful, but they can still be confusing.
So, what exactly are you looking at that you're identifying as a "Chinese code 2" ?
Also, is there a stamp indicating the importer?
