In my humble opinion the Sw 1911’s don’t get enough credit. They are really sweet looking guns. Especially the E series. Personally I really like the fish scale serrations on the slide. Did they checker the front strap?

I had a S&W E series 1911 and yes there is checkering on the front strap. I miss the one I sold on here over the summer as this 1911 is very accurate and I never had any problems with her.

yep, I really like them as well. I have a Colt, Ruger, S&W all in different sizes. In my opinion the Ruger and Smith are just as good if not better than the Colt. I have a Springfield as well and would have to say that it is my least favorite. Its not bad just not as good as the others.

Yes they did checker the front strap. The only reason this one is up is I have another just like it. I will be putting up some other duplicates soon. Just trying to trade money around to other projects. (Read Guns)
