Location: Lawrenceville
Zip Code: 30045
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $1600 OBO
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Maybe
Caliber: 7.62x51
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I'm selling my Springfield M1A that was made in 1979 (Serial Number 0110XX). It is a sweet shooting, beautiful rifle IMO but it's time to move her on to someone that will take her out and shoot her more often than I do. It is in good condition for something built almost 38 years ago. There are some marks in the stock and the rifle could use a good cleaning.
It has standard sights (not NM), the barrel is a non-descript National Match (marked NM) non-chrome lined barrel (Wilson maybe?), and to my knowledge it does not have any USGI parts. All appear to be SA. I believe it is a walnut stock and the handguard is wood also. It comes with one 20 round magazine that doesn't have any identifying marks on it.
$1,600 or best reasonable offer and I would prefer to sell but I may listen to trade offers. If you have a trade offer please send it to me via PM and please put a value on your trade.
Due to family and work obligations, I can only meet at the Gander Mountain in Lawrenceville late afternoons / early evenings during the week. I have more flexibility with when and where to meet on the weekends.
