Item Description:

1. -Bought brand new on 30SEP2019 with proof of purchase.
   This tool has been sitting dormant for far too long. It only visited the range in Mansfield, GA on one occasion- where I fired one 20 round box of Hornady Critical Duty ammunition, and 6 rounds of Legend PRO JHP. Afterwards it was swabbed, wiped down, bagged and shelved. While at the range, I experienced 100% reliability with no break-in. The trigger is adjustable, but it’s the best out of the box SA that I’ve ever felt. As for accuracy, all twenty six rounds from about 30m resulted in an impressive (for me) 3” group with zero fliers.. Full disclosure: Ive been a Beretta 92 shooter for 19 years. While the grip angle of the 1911 is ergonomic and points naturally, I still have a tendency to push rounds downward and to the left. In jest, I’ll blame my off kilter results on the thinner-than-I’m-accustomed-to G10 scales. But y’all already know it’s ‘cause I’m skeered of the bigger boom.

-Elite Operator model has ambidextrous safety, stainless bull barrel, skeletonized hammer and trigger, alloy frame, G10 grips and 2 magazines.
-Springfield’s promo at the time was just chucking the pistol, docs, a cleaning brush, a lock and 2 magazines in a padded S.A. range bag. I was disappointed that Springfield Armory didn’t send it in a decent plastic blow molded box... heck, it didn’t even come in a cardboard box.
