I have one of these, it was wrapped up and seald with wax and covered in cosmolene, after cleaning I did shoot mine some. you just don,t see many of them.

it is a great shooter, I have had a lot of enfields, but when I saw this one I just had to have a brand new one, it will haunt you if you let it go. I have had people try to buy mine and I won't put a price on it.
mine has the matching bayonet also.

I wish I had the bayonet too....the quality is fantastic and there's just something about holding it and knowing it's brand new and knowing it's 60 years old all at the same time....does that make sense?

The member I got it from told me.he bought it twenty years ago. I thought that was just incredible

That is very cool. I would love to have it, but I don't have the self control to own collectable unfired guns.

shoot it and you won't sell it, I shoot every thing I get,.collectors piece or not.
I got mine from SMALLWOOD'S FIREARMS IN SHAPSBURG GA. HE HAD SEVERAL OF THEM,AT LEAST 20 YEARS AGO ALSO, I BET THIS ONE CAME FROM THERE TOO.

If it makes you feel any better it was probably test fired, so you won't be getting a real virgin. If it were mine I would not turn loose of it.
