Item Description: this is a colt M4 upper with SOCOM barrel 14.5” chambered in 5.56. Comes with colt marked Bolt carrier group. Has a pinned gas block not a unreliable clamp style. Rail is a 12” Daniel defense keymod rail. Standard flash hider. Does have a rattle can paint job. Purchased new and test fired and that’s it. This is the UPPER ONLY not a firearm.

Correct. Muzzle device is standard a2 so if pinned and welded it still wouldn’t yield a legal 16”. On a pistol lower it becomes a “firearm” which means it’s overall length is over 26” so you can use a vertical grip.
