Item Description: H&K MP5
This is an honest-to-goodness, original FACTORY (not a sear/trigger pack) four position pictograph H&K MP5 for the collector/investor. NRA VG-Exc with 6 original H&K mags, an H&K screwdriver (have to include this important item), 1-BETA C-Mag, 1-Gemtech Raptor suppressor. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a very rare item as very few factory MP5's are in the NFA registry, making it almost a unicorn. This item was originally purchased by a Metro-Atlanta police department and was previously identified as a pre-1986 “limited sales sample”, but per a re-evaluation of the relevant laws in 2024 the BATFE concluded that this designation was in error, and the item will transfer without restriction. (BATFE re-classification documentation available)
Again, this not a sear, trigger pack, 3-pin, converted from semi-auto or closely resembling a factory MP5....this IS an original, factory, H&K MP5, requiring two transfers: 1-MP5, 1- Gemtech Raptor. This will be a 50/50 transfer.
Morphy's auctioned a factory MP5 in December 2024 at $72k and another in May 2024 for $78K. I prefer to sell in state and not auction if possible.
THIS GUN AND SUPPRESSOR ARE NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRE BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS UNRESTRICTED - FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. Buyer must be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen, and not having any disqualifying criminal convictions, complete the ATF transfer process requiring fingerprints and photo.
