My Dad had one that looked just like it which he bought in the early 1950s.
(Actually he traded a German World War I era P08 Luger for it, because in the 1950s any 9 mm ammo was rare and expensive in America --it was an oddball European caliber!
22 Long rifle was cheap and plentiful.)

My Dad's gun was called a "Supermatic" though.

I see yours has the LEVER for takedown, as did Dad's. As contrasted with the button that pushes straight in.
These lever models are rare, after the 1940s.
