Item Description: SPM This old Ithaca 37 is probably from the early to mid 1950s. My dad was the original owner. It is a deluxe version with a raised rib. I was born in 1954 and he had it as soon as I grew old enough to hunt, which was about 6 in Mississippi. It has a small crack in the stock which is black from years of oil as seen in the next to last picture. The Atlanta gunsmith I use says he can fix it. Because of the crack the price is significantly less than what these go for. And yes, those are the original manuals for the Ithaca and the PolyChoke. The manual is sort of like “Put shell in chamber, pull trigger, pick up dead thing.” This old gun has spent a lot of time in the woods and has been cared for and never abused. It has not been fired since the mid 90s. I would describe the overall condition as fair to good, good for its age. I can meet any late afternoon in Marietta near I-75. SPM
