Item Description: This is a JC Higgins Model 88, nine shot revolver. It was made by High Standard. At High Standard it was named the Sentinel Model R-101. I had one in the High Standard name back about 30 years ago. This gun was made for Sears for those of us old enough to remember when sears, Pennys and several others contracted with the name brand guns to make some with their name on them. It was built between 1959-1965. This gun was bought new by the present owner. It still has the original holster bought at the same time. Very well cared for and not shot much at all. Tight as new.
