Item Description: Have here a good condition Marlin 336 RC straight stock with a U prefix ( Aug 1960-1961 ) this is a shooter and not a safe queen. Has some bumps and bruises but nothing major. The stock has been re-done by me 'cause when I got it the finish was pretty worn. It is missing the little gold bead on the front sight but it does have the correct sight hood ( was expensive to replace ) of course the white line spacer has shrunk some but hey it is nearly 57 years old and we all know you do shrink over time...LOL. On a special note the butt stock is numbered to the receiver. It does have the JM stamp on the barrel, gold trigger, marlin bulls eye, and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. I have not fired this and have no idea what the round count is nor does this come with a box or docs but you will get a nice old Marlin and a handshake and a Thank you.
